Service bulletin PUB-190814REV-de

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

The purpose of this Product Upgrade dealer notification letter is to inform all REV Recreation Group dealers about the need to inspect, and if necessary, replace and supplement the existing fasteners attaching the rear air deflector on certain model year 2015-2020 American Coach brand and certain model year 2018-2019 Monaco brand Class A diesel motorhomes. A list of affected vehicles appears at the end of this bulletin. On motorhomes affected by this Product Upgrade, the rear air deflector, mounted to the rear fiberglass cap, was attached with a series of brackets and screws. The brackets used in this application had slots in certain areas where they attached to the cap. Over time, these brackets could shift or slide within the confines of the slots. This movement can cause the rear air deflector to become slightly misaligned.
