P1DD2 - Torque Request Signal From TCM Denied will be present, set by the TCM and the vehicle will be in limp home mode(Sales Codes DF5 and DF7 - Automatic Transmission Vehicles Only). U1428 - Inaccurate Engine Torque Received(Sales Codes DF5 and DF7 Only). Customers may also comment on one of the following:Long engine cranking prior to vehicle start more noticeable when the outside temperature is above 40°c (104°f)(EMEA with Sales Code ED6 only). Poor shift quality. Lack of vehicle speed. Vehicle will intermittently not start(South Korea Only). The vehicle is in limp home mode (shift RPMs are limited) with no DTCs set (Sales Code DE1 - Manual Transmission Vehicles Only).

The DTC will not turn on a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) light.
