E70 35d fails to start after programming with ISTA/P 2.48.1 To: Service Managers, Shop Foreman, Service Advisors and Service Technicians, After programming for a repair, retrofit or Service Action the engine cranks but fails to start and a CCM message indicating the DEF must be refilled is displayed. Cause: The incorrect DDE software is flashed Until further notice programming should not be performed on MY2011, 2012 or 2013 E70 35d vehicles, except in the case of programming for Diesel Emissions Recall 11E-A03 (B11 04 12). Before programming a vehicle for this recall, submit a PuMA case for further instructions.
