# Service bulletin 19\-BE\-008H

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 10161684
- Published by NHTSA: 2019\-07\-01
- Manufacturer's number: 19\-BE\-008H
- Manufacturer's date: 2019\-05\-02
- NHTSA component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; LANE DEPARTURE; FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE

## NHTSA's summary

This bulletin provides information for replacement of the Blind\-Spot Collision Warning \(BCW\) module. Whenever the left or right side BCW module is being replaced, it is required to perform the variant coding procedure. If the variant coding procedure is not performed, a DTC C1743 \(S/W mismatch\) will be triggered.
