# Service bulletin K0B\_Dealer Packa

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 10161543
- Published by NHTSA: 2019\-06\-24
- Manufacturer's number: K0B\_Dealer Packa
- Manufacturer's date: 2019\-05\-29
- NHTSA component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC; FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

## NHTSA's summary

Dealer Package: 5/29/2019 The ?Remedy? section has been updated with details regarding the availability ofthe ?DRCC notification label?. The involved vehicles are equipped with a Pre\-Collision System \(PCS\) that may automatically apply the brakes if the system detects a potential collision. Due to the mounting of one of the system?s sensors, it is possible for water to enter the sensor. This can lead to PCS deactivation or inadvertent brake activation resulting in limited deceleration for a short duration of time.
