# Service bulletin A19\-014

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

Service Bulletin \- On certain vehicles, after applying a small amount of input to the steering wheel and letting go, the steering wheel may start to shimmy on its own. This occurs because the rotational resistance of steering column assemblies varies on some vehicles. This only occurs when the engine is on and the vehicle is at a complete stop.
