NHTSA's summary
Some 2016 MKX vehicles may exhibit a missing drive control menu if the instrument panel cluster (IPC) is replaced using the current service part. If a IPC replacement is not urgent, advise the customer that Engineering is aware of the issue and working on releasing a service IPC for the 2016 MKX with enabled drive control menu feature. Monitor OASIS for updates.

Some 2016 MKX vehicles equipped with a Heated Steering Wheel built on or before 12/2/2015 may exhibit a condition where the heated steering wheel icon is missing from the MyLincoln Touch 8" touch screen. To determine if the vehicle is equipped with a heated steering wheel, refer to the window sticker which can be accessed through HVBOM. To correct the condition, follow the SYNC Module APIMÙ Standard Programming procedure outlined in section 415-00 of the online Workshop Manual.
