## NHTSA's summary

ServiceNews Article \- If the HFL isn't showing text messages, e\-mail, or both, from an iPhone 4, 4S, 5, or later models, there might not be anything wrong with the system. The phone's Show Notifications setting may just need to be turned on. To do that, select Settings, Bluetooth, HandsFreeLink, Show Notifications, and ON. Of course, if that doesn't do the trick or that setting was already turned on, then continue with normal system troubleshooting.
