# Service bulletin SB1917005R1

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 10160518
- Published by NHTSA: 2019\-05\-28
- Manufacturer's number: SB1917005R1
- Manufacturer's date: 2019\-04\-24

## NHTSA's summary

On some Model X vehicles, a pinched electrical wiring harness at the liftgate might create an obstruction alert, causing the power function of the liftgate not to operate. The liftgate can still be manually opened and closed.
