## NHTSA's summary

Flash: 6.4L Powertrain Diagnostic And System Enhancements This bulletin involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module \(PCM\) with new software. A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp \(MIL\) illumination. Upon further investigation the Technician may find that the following Diagnostic Trouble Code \(DTC\) has been set in the PCM memory: ? U0140 \- Lost Communication With Body Control Module \(BCM\) \(Attempting to clear this DTC will be unsuccessful\). ? P0573 \- Brake Switch 1 Stuck Off.
