# Service bulletin N18218893\-01

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

N182188930\-01 \- Special Coverage \(Added Customer Reimbursement Labor Codes\). Some vehicles, equipped with a Duramax Diesel engine, the transmission cooler lines may be rubbing on the front frame/bumper mount bracket. This condition could cause the cooler lines to leak. Transmission fluid may be seen on the ground under the front bumper. Some drivers may have difficulty selecting gears or experience transmission slip. This special coverage covers the condition described above for a period of 6 years or 72,000 miles \(116,000 km\), whichever occurs first, from the date the vehicle was originally placed in service, regardless of ownership. Dealers are to replace the transmission cooler lines. The repairs will be made at no charge to the customer.
