SOME CUSTOMERS MAY COMPLAIN ABOUR A CLUNKING NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT END TYPICALLY HEARD WHEN TURNING INTO AN UNEVEN ROAD SURFACE OR WHILE TURNING AND HITTING A BUMP. THIS CLUNKING NOISE MAY BE CAUSED BY THE FRONT LEAF SPRING CONTACTING THE SPRING HANGER AS SHOWN IN FIGURE 1. INSPECT THE FOUR LOCATIONS AT THE FRONT SPRING FORWARD HANGER AS SHOWN WITH RED ARROWS IN FIGURE 2 FOR EVIDENCE OF CONTACT. IF EVIDENCE OF CONTACT IS PRESENT, REPLACE BOTH FRONT LEAF SPRINGS WITH UPDATED LEAF SPRINGS TO INCREASE THE CLEARANCE AND PREVENT CONTACT.
