Service bulletin V581204 2031285

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Technical Bulletin (Power Sliding Door Will Not Power Close and Makes a Clicking Noise): The Power Sliding Door will not power close and makes a clicking noise at, or near, the full closed position. Customers may experience that the power sliding door will not power close. The sliding door will be stuck in the open position and the motor will make a clicking noise. This will happen when the PSDM loses the position counts. The sliding door will close manually using the inside or outside door handle. Flashing the PSDM will correct this condition. This document discusses the "Fault Codes" necessary to diagnosis, and potential remedy of the issue. The fault codes for checking warranty coverage for servicing the vehicle are also available.
