# Service bulletin PIC6185A

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician with a diagnostic tip for navigation radios that have inaccurate entries at times when using the voice recognition to input the address. When using the Navigation command "Address" or "Destination" this Allows an address to be stated as a one\-shot method. When using the Navigation command "Directed Address" this Allows an address to be stated one step at a time. Directed address option may be a better choice for entering that address.
