Service Information (UPDATE 91J7 SD Card Information): Prior to the release of UPDATE 91J7, all dealers were sent 2 SD cards in cases labeled ?PREM8 Radio SW08?. The SD card inside the case was not labeled. Dealers may have similar SD cards from previous RCD-510 (Premium 8) software update as part of TB 91-12-11 (2023500). Case for the similar SD card was labeled ?RCD510SW0043?. When performing UPDATE 91J7, it is important to ensure an SD card with the correct software is used. If an SD card with the incorrect software is used to attempt software update, radio will require replacement. This document informs how to verify a correct SD card is being used.
