Service bulletin TT 57-13-05

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Tech Tips (Auto Unlock Function): On the vehicles listed above, the auto unlock feature will only unlock the door(s) that were unlocked when the vehicle was last entered. For example, if the vehicle is set to unlock only the driver?s door on first press of the unlock button on the keyless entry remote (or when using the door handle on KESSY equipped vehicles) and only the driver?s door is unlocked during entry, only the driver?s door will unlock with the auto unlock feature when placed into park or the key is removed from the ignition. This is normal operation, normal characteristic and no diagnosis or repair should be attempted for this condition.
