## NHTSA's summary

SOME CUSTOMERS MAY EXPERIENCE ISSUES WITH OIL DRIPPING FROM THE AIR LEANER OR AN OIL SOAKED FILTER ELEMENT, ALONG WITH ILLUMINATED CHECK ENGINE \(CEL\) AND CHECK AIR FILTER WARNING LAMPS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS BULLETIN IS TO ANNOUNCE THE AVAILABILITY OF A NEW AIR INLET DUCT THAT WILL REDUCE THE PCV OIL REMNANTS ENTERING THE AIR CLEANER AND AN UPDATED DRAIN PLATE THAT WILL PREVENT GEAR TRAIN OIL SPLASH FROM ENTERING THE PCV SYSTEM. SEE THE SERVICE PROCEDURE IN THIS BULLETIN FOR PARTS AND INSTALLATION INFORMATION.
