# Service bulletin SSM74176

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 10153037
- Published by NHTSA: 2019\-02\-19
- Manufacturer's number: SSM74176
- Manufacturer's date: 2018\-12\-04
- NHTSA component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

## NHTSA's summary

A customer may report one or more Body Control Module \(BCM\) outputs not functioning. Examples of these may include: Exterior lighting, Interior lighting, Sun roof blinds, Steering Wheel Adjust, Eco stop start etc... One or more of these symptoms may be accompanied by DTC U1000\-00 \(Solid State Driver Protection Active \- Driver Disabled\) present in the BCM. If DTC U1000\-00 is not present in the BCM do not continue with this SSM. Continue to diagnose and repair the inoperative BCM output as necessary using Topix as a guide.
