## NHTSA's summary

Spots or "corrosion" can be found on an uncoated exhaust system made out of stainless steel, regardless of the surface finish \(polished, brushed, sand blasted\). Attempts made to clean the surfaces using unsuitable cleaning agents. Use of a suitable metal polish \(\#1000\- Autosol Metal Polish\) can be used to clean and polish the exhaust system.
