## NHTSA's summary

This Service Advisory informs affected owners of model year 2017\-2019 J4500 coaches equipped with DDC GHG17 engines, that the cold weather can bring on a rash of engine codes, notably 3216/16 \- SCR inlet NOx Sensor code, which will cause the Maintenance Indicator Light \(MIL\) to illuminate and could cause a derate of 25% of available power; that DDC has developed an interim solution in the form of a need to apply a test calibration sticker on the engine and a new program upload to the engine that will temporarily suppress the 3216/16 code from illuminating the MIL and avoid the 25% derate. Widespread availability will be a couple of weeks in the process.
