Flash: 1.4L Diagnostic And System Improvements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest software. The customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs): ? Cranks fast, as if no compression. ? P1524 - Oil Pressure Out Of Range - Camshaft Advance/Retard Disabled (2014 Vehicles only). ? P1128 - Closed Loop Fueling Not Achieved - Bank 1 Upstream (2014 Vehicles only). ? P0141 - Oxygen Sensor 1/2 Heater Performance (2015 Vehicles only). ? Flash: 1.4L Diagnostic And System Improvements This bulletin involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with new software. A small number of customers may experience one of the following conditions or a a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the Technician may find a Diagnostic Trouble Code has been set in the PCM. ? P0141 - O2 Sensor 1/2 Heater Performance. ? Crank no start condition in extreme cold temperatures of -4°F (-20°C) partially due to the available fuel blend conditions. Additional Software Improvements Include: ?
