## NHTSA's summary

Service Action: F01, F02 and F10 Replace Left Front Spring Strut. This Service Action only affects three \(3\) vehicles that are shown to be in your inventory. The ?Variable Damper Control? \(VDC\) valves for the spring strut shock absorber on the left front axle may fail, causing the Check Control message: ?Chassis function restricted. It is possible to continue driving. Have the system checked as soon as possible by your local BMW Service Workshop? is displayed. Please refer to B37 02 15 \(attached\) for further information. Perform the procedure outlined in this Service Information on all affected vehicles before customer delivery. In the event the customer has already taken delivery of the vehicle, perform the procedure the next time the vehicle is in the workshop. Please contact your field representatives if you have any questions.
