# Service bulletin B340415

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 10151410
- Published by NHTSA: 2018\-12\-10
- Manufacturer's number: B340415
- Manufacturer's date: 2015\-08\-01
- NHTSA component: SERVICE BRAKES

## NHTSA's summary

After Cold Start, Brake Booster Reservoir Vacuum Reduced. With an outside temperature below 14ºF, brake booster vacuum may be reduced after a cold start. The non\-return valve in the vacuum line to the brake booster may stick at temperatures below 14ºF. Sufficient vacuum supply is available again at the brake booster only after the vehicle is driven \(approximately 1/4 mile\).
