"SERVICE ACTION: PROGRAM CONTROL UNITS \(HFM DIAGNOSIS\) This Service Information bulletin supersedes SI M12 04 16 dated April 2016. Required P codes \(OBD II fault codes\) for the HFM diagnosis \(hot film air mass meter\) cannot be displayed correctly. As a result faults in the HFM may not be detected. DME software error AFFECTED VEHICLES This Service Action involves the R55, R56, R57, R58, R59, R60, and R61 vehicles with the N18 engine produced from March 1, 2012 to March 3, 2016. Vehicles which require this Service Action to be completed will show it as ""Open"" when checked either in AIR, the ""Service Menu"" of DCSnet \(Dealer Communication System\) or with the Key Reader."
