## NHTSA's summary

BMW Thermostat. We continue to be in a backorder situation for part number 11 53 8 635 689. Your orders will backorder and be released in the order received regardless of order type \(Stock order, VOR order, Late Day VOR\) when stock is available. There are currently 360 pcs in transit to the US. These will be manually allocated to backorders beginning with the oldest first. Orders will remain at the maximum of 3 per day. Any order over 3 pcs per day will be cancelled. As a reminder, please remove this part number from automatic replenishment and SRD ordering. Please only order for car down situations. There are 475 pcs available in dealer inventory; please use locator and share your stock. Once supply is sufficient and consistent from the supplier, we will open this part number for normal ordering without limitation. We will continue to provide weekly updates.
