# Service bulletin MC49345154

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 10151052
- Published by NHTSA: 2018\-12\-10
- Manufacturer's number: MC49345154
- Manufacturer's date: 2016\-01\-01

## NHTSA's summary

The red "warning light for engine oil pressure" flashes when the vehicle is in motion. In most cases, the cause of a flashing "warning light for engine oil pressure" is a blocked fan. The fan may be blocked because of foreign particles in the area between the frame and fan impeller or in the fan motor shaft bearing. A blocked fan DOES NOT in fact have ANY effect on the oil pressure.
