NHTSA's summary
Thermostat Housing Situation (Update 5). We are currently in a backorder situation for Thermostat Housing part number 11 53 7 534 521. Currently there are 579 pcs on backorders. We have 0 pcs in transit at the moment. However, we currently show 628 pcs available in dealer inventory. Germany is expecting a shipment from the supplier next week. From this shipment, 500 pcs will be sent to the US. Until the backorder situation is resolved, we ask to please remove from SRD ordering and use locator. Please use the limited supply for car down situations only and do not order for stock. Orders over 5 pcs per day will be cancelled.
