## NHTSA's summary

Water Pump In order to accurately determine root cause for water pump failures, we are requesting a coolant sample from an engine with a failed water pump and a photo of the water pump cavity on the block. Please contact Christine Donegan with STAR Support Center at 1\(866\) 799\-1692 ext. 1257 for further instructions. The water pump should be returned via Fast Track process. Cummins is actively investigating this issue and would like to receive suspect components from the field for further investigation and testing.
