This is part of a two step FOTA update, first update brings software level to 22.61 and this second FOTA update will take the software to 22.64. National launch for this second step is May 24, 2021. Customers may experience one or more of the following:Navigation is incorrect or can not calculate route. GPS locations is inaccurate. Uconnect radio apps are all inoperable. Backup camera screen is blue (DT and KL). Green horizontal lines appear across screen (DT and KL). Anti-theft code request message. Backup camera screen is blank. Lines appear across screen. Radio control screen is blank or locked. Radio reset intermittently. Unable to adjust audio volume. Unable to switch modes between AM, FM, SAT or Media. In addition the following enhancements are included in this update:Carplay® connectivity improvement. Improvement to Bluetooth® phone pairing. Bluetooth devices unresponsive. Improved sound quality when using a Bluetooth phone.
18043212023-01-17. Service bulletin. Flash: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Updates This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest available software. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) have been set: P1D7F - ETC Self-Learning Failure. P1524 - Oil Pressure Out Of Range - Camshaft Advance/Retard Disabled. P0000-00 - Will be displayed in the scan tool, but should really be displaying P0326-00 (Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Performance). In addition, the customer may notice the following condition:After a short trip and shutting the engine off for 5-10 minutes, vehicle exhibits a long crank/start condition(EMEA only). Hard start condition caused by spark plugs fouling. A ticking noise coming from the top of the engine area. The ticking noise is heard particularly at idle(EMEA and APAC only).

Some customers may experience one or more of the following conditions: After a short trip and shutting the engine off for 5-10 minutes, vehicle exhibits a long crank/start condition(2016 BU EMEA only). Cruise control will not set at 32 kph (20 mph). Engine cranking times out after five seconds. Cruise control will not engage at highway speeds and when in 6th gear. A ticking noise coming from the top of the engine area. The ticking noise is heard particularly at idle (EMEA and APAC only). The following enhancements are also included: Improved purge sensor performance. Updated fuel strategy to inhibit spark plug fouling.
