## NHTSA's summary

N14 Engine Check Chain Tensioner and Timing Chain MINI Service Action Bulletin \(M11 04 13\) regarding N14 Engine Timing Chain and Tensioner has just been released. This Service Action affects certain MINI models \(R55, R56, R57\) equipped with the N14 engine produced from 11/2006 to 5/2009. Most of the parts needed for this repair may already be in stock at your Dealership. We have placed orders on your behalf for twenty five Timing Chain Repair Kits to every dealer using ?Timingchain? as your purchase order. Please note, the repair kit is not needed for every vehicle as explained in the SIB. Please read the SIB completely before placing orders.
