Service bulletin 52121859A

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Exhaust system gaskets & clamps Anytime the turbocharger is removed/replaced, the turbocharger gasket, turbocharger outlet seal, and turbocharger band clamp must be replaced. In addition, if the front exhaust pipe is removed/replaced, always replace the turbocharger outlet seal and band clamp. The turbocharger gasket, turbocharger outlet seal, and turbocharger outlet band clamp will take a set when secured to the mating surface and is allowed to heat up and cool down. If the mating surfaces are separated, do not reuse these parts
