NHTSA's summary
Servicenews Article - Any customers complaining about these issues when their iPhone running iOS 12 is connected to the vehicle? ? When using an HDMI output, they can't view or listen to videos, music, etc. ? The launcher screen for HondaLink flickers or goes blank. We've determined those issues are due to iOS 12 (and not the vehicle) and have reported this to Apple. Once they come up with a fix, we'll let you know.

These vehicles use an improved injector design that addresses the failures that may have occurred in previous model years. In fact, fuel injectors within the above VIN range with misfire complaints were collected and found to have no defects that required part replacement. Replacing those injectors may have reduced the number of misfires temporarily, but most likely didn’t address the actual cause of the misfire.
