# Service bulletin B160318

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 10149484
- Published by NHTSA: 2018\-11\-26
- Manufacturer's number: B160318
- Manufacturer's date: 2018\-10\-01
- NHTSA component: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE

## NHTSA's summary

SERVICE ACTION. REPLACE THE FUEL TANK PRESSURETEMPERATURE SENSOR. The internal sealing of the fuel tank pressure\-temperature sensor may fail. As a result, the sensor may read an incorrect value and set a fault code for the fuel tank evaporation system. This may lead to the Malfunction Indicator Lamp \(MIL\) being illuminated.
