Service bulletin 611912

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

ActiveE: Charging Contact Protective Sleeve. During the performance of the scheduled 3 months/5,000 miles service (Vehicle Check), it may be determined that some of the contact protective sleeves in the charging socket are missing (see page 13 of attachment #4 from SI B00 08 11). Note: Missing contact sleeves would not cause any KLE charging failures, nor set any charging-related faults in the EME.
