Service bulletin M130214

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Fuel System Failures. INFORMATION If a fuel system failure occurs (e.g., fuel line fuel tank, high-pressure injector, etc.) that results in a fuel odor inside or around the vehicle, or external fuel (fluid) leakage, submit a PuMA Info Only case with a brief description of the complaint that includes photos of the defective component. If parts are replaced to repair the complaint, hold those parts at your dealer for two weeks after the Warranty claim is paid. If your dealer is not contacted within a two-week period to return the parts, the part(s) may be scrapped.
