# Service bulletin 652012

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 10149316
- Published by NHTSA: 2018\-11\-26
- Manufacturer's number: 652012
- Manufacturer's date: 2013\-01\-01
- NHTSA component: EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:RADIO/TAPE DECK/CD ETC.; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY

## NHTSA's summary

RAD2plus: Radio Causes Battery Drain. The vehicle's battery state of charge is very low after the vehicle was parked for a longer period of time \(e.g., overnight\). The RAD2\+ radio doesn't allow the vehicle to enter full sleep mode, and causes a current draw from the battery with ignition off.
