NHTSA's summary

CBS Key Data from Key Reader is not Updated or Current. When using the Key Reader to retrieve information from the customer's key, the data is not updated or current. Condition Based Service (CBS) data has not been transferred from the car to the key prior to being read in the key reader. Typically, this occurs when the spare key is being used. Since the spare key is not regularly used to operate the vehicle, the key data, including the vehicle mileage and maintenance status, is not current.
