NHTSA's summary
BMW Parts Bulletin TEC8U Padded Section, Seat Return BMW AG has requested an inspection of the following part numbers: 52 10 7 251 606, 52 10 7 352 905, 52 10 7 352 906, 52 10 7 352 907, 52 10 7 354 194 and 52 10 9 177 100 Stock should not be sold or installed on any vehicle. All parts should have an inspection label on them. The part should have one of the two sample labels shown below. Parts that do not have the words Gepruft or CIS sparepart must be returned to your facing Regional Distribution Center. Submit for return using a YR26 damage claim with order reason BM2. A valid BMW delivery and delivery item number must be entered, and TEC8U must appear in the text of your TEC claim. TEC8U is valid from May 20, 2014, through June 3, 2014.The deadline for filing a claim under TEC8U is June3, 2014. All parts must be returned to your facing RDC no later than June 17, 2014. Please re-order the same part numbers as needed.
