NHTSA's summary
Parts Situation F56 Oil Cooler Final Update. We have more great news! 134 parts will be shipped today via Fed Ex to arrive at your dealerships by tomorrow morning (4/17). This means all F56 in dealer inventory will have parts to complete the repair by Thursday, earlier than projected. If for some reason by Friday morning you have affected F56 in inventory, without parts to satisfy this campaign, first check your other locations (if you have them), second email the Parts Technical Group at pcg@bmwna.com or call them at 1-800-272-0202 for assistance. Per updated SIB M11 01 14, the oil pan drain plug seal is no longer necessary for this repair. Therefore, the drain plug seal (part number 9 963 132) will not be included in part shipments for this repair as of 4/14/14.
