## NHTSA's summary

MINI F56 Manual shifter issue. Speed shifting has a downside. When enjoying motoring bliss, sometimes spirited shifting can give you a little more than you bargained for. On Friday, July 25th our Technical Service department announced a service action to address the issue of F56 manual gearshift knobs possibly coming off with a spirited shift. For complete service campaign information please refer to Service Information Bulletin M25 01 14 which outlines the issue, how to correct it and asks dealer personnel to contact F56 Motorers with a manual gearbox to get the repair completed. While the service action process is well established, we felt it would be good for the Sales side of the business to be aware this was taking place as your Service department will be contacting all Motorer delivered F56 with a manual gearbox to get this repair completed.
