## NHTSA's summary

S 1000 XR Missing Luggage Rack. Please be aware that a number of S 1000 XR motorcycles will not include Option 665 Luggage Rack from the factory as expected. However, the Aftersales Department will release a Service Information Bulletin in the near future describing the process for obtaining and installing a luggage rack to replace the missing item. Attached is a list of VINs affected by this issue and a document that is included with each affected motorcycle. As further identification, each affected VIN includes option 908.
