Service bulletin B070115
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

"?Best Practices for Using ISTA with AIR. With the introduction of ISPI NEXT, ISTA (Integrated Service Technical Application) and AIR (Aftersales Information Research) provide some new features to improve workshop efficiency: ? An easy way to look up repair overviews after diagnosis is completed, with the touch of a button ? An easy way to access all the information in AIR that relates to the vehicle being diagnosed, with the touch of a button The best practices for using ISTA with AIR, which can help avoid repeat visits and improve workshop efficiency, are as follows: 1. Always use the latest released version of ISTA and the AIR client. The latest versions ensure that you are using the latest test plans, wiring diagrams, and repair manuals. 2. After the fault codes are read from the vehicle and before performing a test plan, select the ""SIBs"" button and see if any Service Information bulletins relate to the vehicle you are working on. This will save you time (a one-button click in ISTA opens AIR) and ensures no SI is missed. 3. When viewing the SI in AIR, always verify that the information in the SI relates to this specific vehicle (by production date, option codes, etc.), just as you would in the TIS website. Before completing diagnosis test plans, applicable Service Information bulletins should always be investigated and followed. 4. After test plans are completed, the ""Repair overviews"" button can be selected. This opens AIR directly. The repairs overview in AIR contains the labor operations from KSD, along with the parts required to complete the job. The repair overviews can be saved into the clipboard for this VIN and viewed by other departments for easy access. 5. The third way to access AIR is the ""AIR"" button on top of the ISTA toolbar. This transfers all the information over to AIR for easy viewing. Other
