# Service bulletin 550890

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

Certain vehicles were manufactured with a Safe\-T\-Alert LP/CO detector that incorporated a relay that would shut off the LP supply if the LP/CO went into alarm mode. The LP/CO detectors? wiring from the detector to the relay and solenoid was not installed, however, this has no ill effect on proper operation of the LP/CO detector in detecting unsafe levels of CO or LP gas.
