## NHTSA's summary

K1600 GT/GTL \(K48\) Keyless Ride Manual Error. The owner?s manual of several 2015MY K1600 GT/GTL \(K48\) motorbikes built before October 10th did not specify that keyless ride only comes with one key \(with the exception of the K1600 GTL Exclusive\). As a result, Aftersales would like to turn this error into a positive for our customers and will reimburse dealers to supply a second key to 2015MY K1600 GT/GTL keyless ride owner?s that did not include the corrected single sheet owner?s manual update. The eligible motorcycles have been identified by VIN. Please reference the VIN list attached. With the exception of the K1600 GTL Exclusive all motorcycles with the keyless ride systems are supplied with one keyless ride key. Warranty claims should be made using the missing parts defect code; 10 01 00 00 00 with the addition of 2 FRU work time; 66 99 000 to initialize the key.
