"BMW Engine Oil: New Repair Order Invoicing Procedure. INFORMATION With the introduction of our new engine oil supplier, the base unit of measure for engine oil is now ""one liter."" With this change in the unit of measure, BMW will now reimburse the ""exact quantity"" of engine oil that is needed to ""fill up"" the crankcase after the completion of an applicable engine repair (partial or full) or when an ""Engine oil"" maintenance service task is performed. This bulletin provides the new procedure for invoicing the ""used quantity"" of engine oil on the repair order for claim submission. This new procedure for invoicing BMW engine oil becomes effective with repair order/claim dates on or after August 17, 2015. In advance of the implementation of this new procedure, please make the necessary changes to your DMS. Claims that are not submitted as outlined below will be automatically returned to your center for correction."
