## NHTSA's summary

Thermostat Housing Situation \(Update 8\). Due to supplier delays, part number 11 53 8 674 895 will remain on a maximum ordering restriction of 5 per day. We have released over 600 backorders today which will be shipping out shortly. Any orders over this maximum limit will be cancelled. Our supplier is working diligently to increase supply. Upon stock arrival, we will manually release the oldest backorders first regardless of order type \(Stock Order, VOR or Late Day VOR\). The oldest backorder is dated 8/08/2016. Currently there are 1,883 pcs on backorders with 481 pcs showing in dealer inventory; Please use locator for car down situations. We have 548 pcs currently in transit to the US.Please remove from automatic replenishment and only order as needed. We will continue to provide weekly updates.
