INSTRUMENT CLUSTER REMAINS DARK \& DOES NOT START UP This Service Information bulletin replaces SI B62 07 17 dated May 2017 What's New: Changed affected production dates \& options Procedure wording Changed I\-level of software. G12 \(7 Series\) G30 \(5 Series Sedan\) Vehicles produced up to 3/1/2017. The instrument cluster \(KOMBI\) display does not appear when the vehicle is started. Software in the instrument cluster incorrectly initiates the safety mode causing the cluster display to remain dark.
