## NHTSA's summary

This document is a representative communication sent to several OEMs. The communication informed the OEMs of a possible failure of the Continuous Flow Valve \(CFV\) that may slow achievement of the desired gas flow, resulting in a Fault Code 3436 or 3437 and possibly impacting engine performance. The communication recommends that the OEMs proactively replace the CFV in units that are still in OEM inventory.
