## NHTSA's summary

We have heard concerns from many of our retailers about the press release last night from Subaru Corporation about the Japanese governments continuing investigation in emissions and fuel economy discrepancies involving a very small number of vehicles. Please note, this matter does not affect US market vehicles. Subaru vehicles sold in the United States are tested by and designed for compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency \(EPA\) and are also rigorously tested by the California Air Resources Board \(CARB\). We will keep you informed if there are any further developments.
