## NHTSA's summary

SA\-17\-037 CAMPAIGN AA860 CONNECTING ROD UPDATE. Certain trucks involved with Campaign AA860 may have previously had the connecting rods or engines replaced before this campaign was released. Step 3 of the inspection procedure will be modified as below to verify the date codes on the connecting rods. If the connecting rods were manufactured after 101227 \(December 27, 2010\), engine repair is not required. The procedure on Hinonet will be adjusted to reflect this change.
